In-House Technology

You came to get away from it all, but we realize that we live in the 21st century so we include with your stay a few things to make it feel more like home.

  1. House iPad (stocked with tons of music, dozens of award-winning movies, and connected throughout the house system).

  2. High-Speed Fiberoptic Wi-Fi.

  3. Bluetooth Speaker for any device (Indoor/Outdoor & Waterproof).

  4. Laser Printer with fax and copy capabilities.

  5. Smart TVs in all bedrooms & living areas (Stream all your favorite shows).

If there is anything else you need to make your stay more comfortable, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate.

Water Sports

Included with your stay at Sunset Watch Villas are ocean kayaks, snorkel gear, and many other water toys for personal use. They can be used at any time, though we recommend not kayaking in the sea at night. So take a map of the island, grab a paddle, and hit the surf. Enjoy the smooth seas and check out any one of the dozens of beaches, bays, and reefs around the island.

In-House Catering

As a guest at Sunset Watch Villa you have a number of culinary options. Our Virgin Gorda vacation villa offers three gourmet equipped kitchens and local restaurants range from a short walk (Sugar Cane at Nail Bay Estates) to a 15 minute drive at the most.

HOWEVER, if you don’t feel like cooking but you also don’t feel like going out, private catering can be arranged so you can enjoy a 5-star meal from the comfort of your own BVI villa. Eat on the beach, by the pool, on the rooftop deck, or anywhere you like. Just let us know ahead of time, and we will arrange everything.

We have had rave reviews from guests who have had Chef-made meals during their stay by Chef Tucker.

Staff

These villas were founded, designed, and built by Ajit Mathew George, who helped to design and develop the entirety of Nail Bay Resort and now owns this little slice of paradise. Many people have worked together to make this destination possible including building, booking, designing, webpaging, and more, but during your stay the most important person you should know is our Villa Concierge, Sonny. He is a local from Virgin Gorda and has been overseeing this property for over a decade now. Sonny has intimate knowledge of everything inside and out of the villa, including amenities, travel, and places on the island. Please to hesitate to reach out to him with any questions or concerns during your stay with us. He is available every day except Sunday and his phone number will be provided upon your arrival.

Onsite Tropical Gardens

At Sunset Watch, we are most grateful for all that nature has to offer in a tropical paradise like Virgin Gorda. That is why we have over 1,500 trees, flowers, and plants spread throughout the property. We are very lucky to have a climate that allows colorful growth all year round and we want to show you just how beautiful that can be. You could spend an entire day exploring the variety of tropical species planted around the grounds, so please feel free to explore. We just ask that you do not pick the flowers.

Let Sunset Watch Villa owner, Ajit George, describe the verdant Caribbean gardens he installed at the villa:

"My parents were phenomenal gardeners. They grew this garden in Kuwait, which is a desert country. They got all kinds of awards. I grew up in Kuwait and my mother was just a very inspirational gardener. She grew things that were not meant to grow in the desert. So when I had a chance to do something with an interesting piece of land in Virgin Gorda (BVI) - it's a beachfront piece of land - I planted every plant I could get my hands on and really experiment with plants and grow stuff that people said couldn't be grown. It has become a passion to see things grow and see how they evolve over time. In some cases, they have grown larger than I would have wanted and some places are more crowded. In the early days I couldn't say no to any plant I had seen somewhere else. So I would bring cuttings or seeds or I would bring them in to plant. And it's what I call a relatively uncultured look. It's not like a garden where everything is sculpted. It is meant to look like it was always there. It sort of looks like a jungle garden, but it's not a jungle. It was planted deliberately to be fun and colorful and interesting. I have lot of cacti growing next to very colorful tropical plants. It creates an interesting juxt a position of having cactus next to what you would consider to be purely tropical flowers. I have cactus that is probably 10 or 12 feet tall. People are always stunned to see a banana plant, a pomegranate plant, a bougainvillea and cactus. It's interesting."
